Sally is a passionate yogi with a love of finding the still moments in life and embracing them with both hands.
Sally has practised yoga for 20 years now, but it was during a particularly stressful period in her life a few years ago that she discovered how developing a regular yoga practice could help her to find calm, balance and ultimately; to find herself. She loves to weave philosophy into her Yoga teachings and strongly believes that there is a yoga practice suitable for everybody – both on and off the mat.
She now teaches Hatha, Yin Yoga, Yoga Nidra and Meditation, as well as Prenatal and Postnatal Yoga, through classes, courses and workshops. She also teaches alongside the Hatha Teacher Training team at The Sanctuary and continues her studies at every opportunity. Sally is also a huge lover of Kirtan and a Reiki Healing practitioner.
Yoga for Sally is all about the Individual, so she pours herself into teaching fun, safe classes that suit Individual people, completely without judgement and with a focus on ‘self-enquiry’ to develop a realistic and nourishing practice for remaining in the present moment; using breath, movement and advice based on yogic philosophy to focus on the here and now and find a sense of calm.
In Sally’s classes you are welcome to explore at your own pace, (whatever your ability), and most importantly, to just be yourself. Bring with you an open heart and an open mind!
